Cross Country Kicks Off Practice Tomorrow

The Cyclones start the cross country season tomorrow with their first team meeting. After the meeting the team will be leaving Ames for the first annual team camp. This year the team will be staying just outside of Deorah, Iowa. The camp concludes on Thursday and will include training on some of the best trails in Northeast Iowa, a canoe trip on the Upper Iowa River, team meetings, and a number of other activities. One of the highlights will be a dinner hosted by Janet and Bob Leifeld, the parents of current Cyclone Jon Reis and alumnus Dan Reis.
