Cyclone Men 5th in the Big 12

The Cyclone men took steps toward the National Championships on Friday when competing in the Big 12 Conference Championships. Many positives came out of the 5th place finish for Iowa State and many of the runners had great races. Among them were All-Conference performers Kiel Uhl (finishing 7th) and Guor Majak (finishing 14th). David Rotich (27th place), Kevin Born (31st place), and Ricky Reusser (36th place) rounded out the top 5 scoring a total of 114 points. Colorado won the meet convincingly, followed by Texas and Kansas. Iowa State was not to far behind fourth place Oklahoma State, who scored 108 points though. Full results, both individual and team, can be found here.
